Lois Mary White, 86, of Fountain Springs, passed away Tuesday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was a resident of Shenandoah Manor Nursing Home, Shenandoah.

Born in Ashland, April 9, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Dwight and Burley Camp Kehler.

She was a graduate of Ashland High School. She was a member of Christ Congregational Church, Fountain Springs. She worked for many years in the garment industry at Reidler Knitting Mill, Ashland. She also worked at Ashland Sportswear and Butler Elementary School cafeteria. She liked to cook and sew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. White, who died in 2005; a brother, Russell Kehler.

She is survived by a son, George A. White and friend, Kathy; a grandson, George B. White; a sister, Burley Heffnar, Maryland; three nieces and three nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs. Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday from Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland.
