Maryann E. Walsh, 63, of Shenandoah Heights, died Thursday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born Nov. 11, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Savitsky Walsh.

She worked as a senior investigator for the Attorney General's Office of Pennsylvania.

Maryann was a 1973 graduate of the former Cardinal Brennan High School and a 1977 graduate of Penn State University. She then attended Villanova University where she earned her certification as a paralegal. Maryann also enjoyed traveling and going to casinos.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Walsh.

Surviving are one sister, Patricia Popalis and her husband, Andy, Shenandoah; one nephew, Colin Walsh, Harrisburg; one niece, Meghan Walsh, Easton; her friend and companion, Mariana DeAngelo, Shenandoah.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Divine Mercy Parish, 218 W. Cherry St., Shenandoah, with Father Brian Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Annunciation BVM Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A private visitation will be held for the family Wednesday morning. Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
