Paul Glenn Walters, 80, of Mountain Top, entered into eternal rest Thursday in the comfort of his own home.

Born and raised in Ringtown, March 16, 1937, he was a son of the late William and Derrella Briggs Walters.

He worked for PP&L until retirement. After retirement, he worked at Knoebels Grove, Elysburg. Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father and friend.

In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by a brother, Frank, and a sister, Derrella.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet Walters, Mountain Top; children, Kevin, husband of Alexandra Walters, Feeding Hills, Mass., Karla, wife of Ted Grozio, Mountain Top, Kelly, wife of David Hilscher, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; grandchildren, Stephen, Christopher, Matthew, Evan, Ted, Olivia, Taylor, Nathaniel, Jamie and Nicole.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Rothermel-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Elysburg, with the Rev. JP Bohanan officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in United Methodist Cemetery, Ringtown. There will be a visitation from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday from Rothermel-Heizenroth Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to , 63 N.
