Richard L. "Rick" Leibig Sr., of Ashland, died Monday. He was 68.

He was born Aug. 12, 1950, to the late Albert Leibig and Bertha Meier.

Rick served in the Navy. Rick retired last year. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Walter.

He is survived by his wife, Ines (Lauta); his children, Thomas Lauta (Nanette), Sally Mckelvey (John Sr.), Jennifer Foley (Donald) and Richard Jr.; his grandchildren, Mya, Brayden, John Jr., Morgan, Maksim, Klaudia, Joshua and Jordan; his brothers, Sonny, Samuel, David and Darryl.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Episcopal Church, 12th and Market St., Ashland, with the Rev. James Smith officiating. Interment in Brock Cemetery, Ashland. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, and noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
