Sandra L. Butcavage, 79, of Tuscarora, passed away Friday evening at St. Luke's Miners Hospital, Coaldale. Born Aug. 18, in Atlanta, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Griffen O. Jones and Blanche R. Tallent Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Butcavage; daughters, Tracey Brooks and Diana Owen; sister, Ceceilia Weinbender. Sandra is survived by her son, Steve Simmons; daughters, Laura Stoever and Jennifer Simmons; brother, Griffen Jones; sister, Sheila Mathis; grandchildren, Tiffany Hoover, Katie Brown, Ashley Gatewood, Josh Generella, Brandon Hoover, Kayla Hoover, Sandra Stoever and Justin Simmons; seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Atlanta, Ga. Thomas J. Bartashus Funeral Home, New Philadelphia, has care of arrangements.
