William "Billy" Bright, 55, of Shenandoah, passed away Wednesday at Shenandoah Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, Shenandoah.

Born in Shenandoah, Oct. 26,1962, he was a son of Mary Lou, the wife of Richard Dodson, of Shenandoah, and the late William Bright.

He graduated from Shenandoah Valley High School in 1980 and throughout the years worked at the Shenandoah Rag Co., Mike's Seafood and Vernalis Restaurant. Billy was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

In addition to his mother, surviving are his sister and caregiver, Linda, wife of Clem Capiga, Shenandoah, and sisters, Debby McGinn, Shenandoah, and Tracy, wife of Joe Nahas, Frackville. Nieces, nephews and cousins survive.

A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday from Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday from Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home. The Rev. Craig Zimmerman will officiate. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shenandoah. Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home, Ashland, is in charge of arrangements.
