Ardeth I. Luckenbill, 88, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Born in Cressona, Aug. 1, 1930, she was a daughter of the late William and Mable Heberling Miller.

She was the widow of Harold "Kutter" Luckenbill, who passed away Feb. 9, 1996.

Ardeth was a member of Bethesda Evangelical Congregational Church, of Reedsville.

She was a graduate of Cressona High School, Class of 1948, and was formerly employed as a machine operator at Alpha Mills.

Ardeth was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Cressona Chapter.

Ardeth loved plants and flowers, playing cards, and feeding and observing birds.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ardeth was preceded in death by one son, Bruce William Luckenbill, in 1950; two sisters, Mildred and Violet; one brother, Harold.

She is survived by a son, Glenn Luckenbill and wife, Leslee, of Pottsville; granddaughter, Rachel Orlando and husband, Vincent, Chester Springs; great-granddaughter, Giuliana; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Bethesda Evangelical Congregational Church, of Reedsville, with the Rev. Mark Brooks officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the church. Interment will immediately follow the service at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
