With a close friend, another Mary, she walked miles and miles through Schuylkill Haven and Cressona for years. She also enjoyed going to casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas with family.

Sitting on her porch with family and watching the Borough Day activities was a fun way to celebrate her birthday every year.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard (Butch) McCord, and her second husband, Willis Woomert Sr. She was also preceded by brothers, Richard Wisner and Vincent Wisner; infant brother, John Wisner; sisters, Katherine Salmon and Frances Mullins; son-in-law, Daniel Fisher.
