Elizabeth B. Greco, 88, of Atlas, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born July 30,1932, in Calabria, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Barbara Mirarchi. She was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, Mount Carmel, and worked for many years in area garment factories, operated a pizza shop and was a beautician until retirement. She loved her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Romualdo, in 2008; a son, Louis Greco, on Dec. 23, 2020. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth, wife of Adam Bernodin, Ashland, and Concetta DiZio, Ashland; grandchildren, Amy Melchior, Elizabeth Deeter, Adam Bernodin Jr., Thomas DiZio and Angela Ryan; great-grandchildren, Jakob, Eli, Luke, Mason, Peyton, Conor and Annabel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21 at Divine Redeemer Church, Moung Carmel. The Rev. Ryan M. Fischer will officiate.
