Robert Repella, 84, of Mahanoy City, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Shenandoah Heights. Bobby was born Dec. 25, 1936, in Park Place, a son of the late Anna (Radansky) and Joseph Repella. Bobby graduated from Mahanoy City High School. He served in the Marines. He was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City. He was preceded in death by brothers, William, Joseph, Theodore, Steve, Nicholas and Albert, and sisters, Anna Klitch, Virginia Stremba and Tina Repella. Bobby is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Yankus, of New Jersey, and Katherine Bolish, of Mahanoy City; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews. Office of Christian Burial and Divine Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City, with the Rev. James Carroll officiating. Friends may call at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be private at convenience of the family. Louis D.
