Jerry H. Stoutland, 91, of Orwigsburg, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, at The Specialty Hospital at Rittenhouse, Philadelphia. Jerry was born May 1, 1929, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of the late Agnes (Sakariesen) and Peter Stoutland. He was the widower of Joyce J. (Dunker) Stoutland. He was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a New York City firefighter. Jerry enjoyed golfing as well as being an Eagles fan. He was a member of Staten Island Baseball Oldtimers Association. He was predeceased by his brother, Arthur Stoutland. Jerry is survived by two daughters, Nancy, wife of Tony Pugliese, and Karen, wife of Eric Anderson; two sons, Steven Stoutland and Jeffery, husband of Allison Stoutland. Jerry is also survived by grandchildren, Dana, Nicky, Erin, Jennifer, Kristen, Jake, Madison, Fran, Michael and Toni-Anne; great-grandchildren, Joey, Juliana, Jolie, Katie, James, Abbie and Lilly; a sister, Patricia Stoutland, of North Carolina. Funeral arrangements are private at the convenience of the family. Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. have been entrusted with the arrangements.
