Donald I. Shriner Obituary

Donald I. Shriner, of Harrisburg, formerly of Frackville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, at 60 years old.

Don was born Aug. 26, 1960, in Middletown, and was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School.

Don was predeceased by his father, William, and brothers, Billy and Terry.

He is survived by his mother, Linda, of Lavelle; two sisters, Maryanne (Greg) Knaub, of Mechanicsburg, and Jean Shriner, of Lavelle. In addition to his wife, Jacqui, with whom he had been married for 34 years, he is survived by a daughter, Fallon (Anthony) Cesarini, of Huntingdon Valley; sons, Codey Shriner, of San Francisco, Calif., and Matthew Shriner, of Harrisburg. "Big D" loved spending time with his grandchildren, Antonella, Stella and Milo, who adored him.

Don was employed by Sands Ford, Pottsville, as the finance manager, where he took great pride in getting his customers into the cars of their dreams. He had previously worked with his sister at Renewed Hearing Solutions, Camp Hill, and his father at Shriner Insurance Agency, Lavelle. An avid outdoorsman, Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and target shooting. He loved riding his Harley and was a member of Harley-Davidson Owners Club.

At this time, no formal services are planned; a Celebration of Life with family will occur at a later date.
