She was a midwife at Simpsons and had a long association with George Watson's College. Wife of the late Alexander William Monteath Thomson, formerly of the Bruntsfield Hotel. Loved mother of Karen, Jane and Elizabeth, grandmother of nine and great-grandmother to ten.
