LYON Dr Rae Llewelyn MD, FRCPE (Edinburgh)
Died peacefully in Haslingden Hall Lancs, after a short illness. A much loved husband of the late Katharine (Bunty) and father to Ann and Donald grandfather to David and uncle to the wider clan. Funeral to take place at 1 pm, on Monday, February 12, 2018, with service and cremation at Burnley Crematorium , Accrington Rd , Hapton BB11 5QD. Dr Lyon was an inspiration to me as an aspiring NHS administrator in the 1970's . He took a real interest in my budding career and I will always have fond memories of his kindness , generosity , and genuine interest . His concern was not only about the clinical service the NHS offered but also all the people in it . I'm for ever grateful to have known him .
