He also learned to play the accordion and played in several bands during his life, most recently entertaining at the Whitney Senior Center. Alex enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards or just visiting. We will miss his warm smile and wonderful sense of humor. He was always trying to brighten someone's day.

Deepest Sympathy to your family during this time. The loss of a friend (my father, Bill Golden who delivered mail at the the post office for years) will be deeply missed. Thinking about you during this time. We all remember the times of the post office picnics when Alex played the accordion for us all that we enjoyed so much. He will forever be remembered......

Shelley-I have some fond memories of your dad-he was always so much fun to talk to. I remember when he came home from the Air Force-he had just bought a brand new 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop and came to see us in Litchfield. I will miss him. May God bless you in your time of grief.
