Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Catherine E. Euteneuer, 92, of Waite Park will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waite Park. Catherine passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at St. Benedict's Senior Community Center, St. Cloud. Reverend Mark Innocenti will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Catherine was born on February 24, 1920 in Buckman, Minnesota to the late Arnold and Catherine (Salber) Preusser. She worked at St. Raphael's Home, Strut Wear and Munsingwear in her early years. She married Elmer J. Euteneuer on May 9, 1946 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She resided in Waite Park all of her married life and was a member of St. Joseph's Parish. Catherine was a past member of St. Joseph's Christian Women and Mission Group.
Catherine enjoyed sewing and gardening and will be remembered for her infectious smile.
She is survived by her children, Rita (Tom) Philippi of North Mankato, David (Darla) of Big Lake, Leo (Terry) of Avon, Jim (Barb) of St. Joseph; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Joe (Delores) Preusser of St. Cloud, August Preusser of Avon; and sister, Sr. Innocent Preusser, OSB of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer in 1988; brothers, Arnold, Ben and infant Peter Preusser; and sisters, Theresa Justin, Anna Euteneuer and Margaret McCall.
