David was in the seminary from 1972-1975 in Washington D.C considering the Franciscan Brotherhood. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where he was a lector and a member of Knights of Columbus Bishop Busch Council #9138. David enjoyed traveling, especially to Deadwood, cross country skiing, hiking, bicycling, and driving his motorcycle. He was a man of great integrity, loved his family and prayed for them often. David was encouraging to others, easy going and very spiritual. Nature was important to him and he shared the same passion as St. Francis, always caring, giving and looking after those who were less fortunate. His catholic faith was very important to him.
Survivors include the joy of his life, Mary Lapinski of Rice; brothers and sisters, Arthur Jr. (Patricia) of Rice, Darla (David) Euteneuer of Big Lake, Rev. Kenneth Popp of Pierz and Buckman, Gary (Dianna) of Rice, Joanne (Vince) Karls of Sauk Rapids and Pamela (Tom) Erdmann of St. Michael; step-mother, Mary Popp of Sartell; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
