Patricia "Pat" A. Klocker
Waite Park, MN - Every time a bell rings, an angel gets it's wings…Patricia "Pat" Ann Klocker gained her wings on December 30, 2020 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family, after a graceful, courageous 23-month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Patricia is survived by her loving children, Laurie (Joel) Vogel of St. Joseph, MN, Kim (Keith) Schoenecker of Savage, MN, Theresa "Terri" (Steve) Dolphin of Mineral Point, WI, Jackie (Marc) Paulson of Eleva, WI, Brian (Mary Koshiol) Klocker of Clearwater, MN; daughter-in-law, Lynn Klocker of Robbinsdale, MN; adored by 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as Patty Cake; 4 step-great grandchildren; siblings, Carol Gohman, Peter Gohman and Lavonne "Snookie" Denzer.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph; her son, Mark; grandson, Kole; parents; sister, Mary Lou; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Mary Klocker, and many other close family members and friends.
Patricia Ann Gohman was born March 11,1937 to Peter and Isabella (Fandel) Gohman. Pat was a 1956 graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School. After graduation she married the love of her life and they enjoyed 57 wonderful years together.
She worked several jobs including cashier, Avon and Tupperware representative, and service rep for Club's Choice Fundraising. In her 83 years she held multiple roles in her life. Her passion was baking and cooking, especially holiday feasts where everyone would usually leave with the fruits of her labor. Mom loved watching the Minnesota Twins. But it was the role of wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend that she held closest to her heart. She was a lifelong member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, St. Cloud, Minnesota. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary along with the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, St. Cloud, Minnesota. Father Virgil Helmin will officiate the service beginning at 11:00 AM. There will be no visitation. Masks and safe social distancing protocols will be in place. For those who are unable to attend, the service will be available to live stream at www.holyspiritstcloud.net
Private Interment will immediately follow the service at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, Minnesota.
The family would like to thank Dr. Alkhatib along with the entire team at Coborn's Cancer Center, St. Croix Hospice Staff, most especially Casey and Audra, Waite Park First Responders, and family friend, Father Virgil Helmin for their loving and caring support of our mom.
