William (Bill) Lewandowski, 63, of San Francisco, CA, formerly of Foley, MN, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at his home after a long battle with Melanoma Cancer.
A Memorial gathering for family & friends will be held on Saturday, March 29, 1:00 - 4:00 at Life Assembly Church, 2409 Clearwater Rd, St. Cloud, MN.
Bill was born Sept. 13, 1950 to Walter & Darlene (Adams) Lewandowski in St. Cloud, MN. Bill spent most of his adult life in San Francisco, which he loved. He enjoyed the theater, fine arts, spending time with friends and he loved to travel.
He was employed with Support for Families of Children with Disabilities as Operations Director. He loved his job and his coworkers.
Bill is survived by his mother Darlene, St. Cloud; brothers & sisters, Joe (Bobbi), Columbia Heights, Barb (Tony) Ruprecht, St. Cloud, Tim, Sauk Rapids, Carol (Jeff) Miller, Cold Spring, Debbie Kaproth (Kurt) St. Cloud, Donnie (Cindy), Sartell, Danny (Jan), Fort Dodge IA, Mike (Tammy), Sauk Rapids; many nieces & nephews and by his loving friends in San Francisco, whom he considered his family also.
He is preceded in death by his father, Walter.
Bill was a kind, patient, giving, wonderful man and will be greatly missed.
