Marjorie Ann Schultenover Obituary
Marjorie Ann Schultenover, 81

Estero, FL and Kimball, MN

August 6, 1934 ~ Nov. 29, 2015

Marjorie Ann (Laubach) Schultenover, 81, of Estero, FL passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL on Sunday November 29, 2015 with her family by her side.

Marge was born August 6, 1934 in St. Cloud to Linda and Al Laubach. She graduated from St. Cloud Cathedral High School in 1952. On October 15, 1955 she married Lloyd Schultenover. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Marge worked as a medical technician for several years in St. Cloud. After marrying Lloyd and moving to Iowa, where they started their family, they moved to Spring Valley in 1970. She and Lloyd bought Spring Valley Building Center where she was the bookkeeper. They retired from the business and moved to their home in Estero, FL in 1998. They continued to spend the summers at their lake home in Kimball.

Marge loved living her life between FL and MN and enjoyed getting the best from each. She loved her time with family and friends and took great pride in her grandchildren. She loved playing cards, games, watching sports and reading. Marge learned to knit in her retirement and enjoyed sharing her hats and blankets with friends and family. She donated many of her hats to people recovering from cancer. She still kept in touch with her beloved Girl Scout Troop and would meet with them a couple of times a year. Marge loved living in sunny Florida and having family come to stay with them on vacation. She was always a generous host and loved a good celebration. Her cheerful disposition and heart-felt laughter will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Marge is preceded in death by her brother Ronald and parents Linda and Al Laubach. She is survived by husband Lloyd, daughters Beth (Tom) Behrens of Rochester, Amy (Craig) Barth of Roanoke, TX, Kim Schultenover (David Sinner) of Victoria, son Paul Schultenover of Owatonna, sister Connie (Ray) Hedlund, brother Robert (Sally) Laubach, sister-in-law Perci Laubach, 11 grandchildren and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in MN at a later date.
