Paul Brenna Obituary

Paul L. Brenna

Paul L. Brenna died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 after a battle with cancer.

Paul was born in Spokane on August 27, 1946 to Howard and Geraldine Brenna. He was raised in West Seattle and graduated from Rainier Beach High School in 1964. He later was introduced to the love of his life through mutual friends whom he married in 1972. Shortly after, Paul designed and built their dream home where they have lived for 40 years and have raised several dogs and horses.

Paul started out his career in architecture with Chester Lindsey Architects and designed many office buildings in Lower Queen Anne and throughout Bellevue. He was very involved with the construction of The Columbia Center, acting as an owner's representative, and project manager for Martin Selig. One of the more recognizable projects Paul designed, while working at Chester Lindsey's, was the Chateau St. Michelle Winery in Woodinville. He and his wife later started The Brenna Company where he was an owner's representative and project manager for several high end residential construction projects throughout the Puget Sound area.

He loved to take photographs, golf and ride his Harley on curvy back country roads. He was one of the founding members of the Hell's Geezers Riding Club and looked forward to their annual trip throughout Eastern Washington with all the members.

He will be deeply missed by those who knew him and those that loved him. Preceded in death by his father Howard Brenna and mother Geraldine (Jones) Brenna. He is survived by his wife Julie (Janssen) Brenna, sister in-law Melinda Jill Janssen, his niece Kimberly (Jonathan) Prinz, and their children Nathan, Jacob, Luke and William.

Condolences Julie
We were out of the country but Kelly let us know. Pat talked to him several times after Christmas and he said he was getting better. Such a shock
