As a graduate of Sundown M Ranch and an occasional return visitor, I remember John with gratitude .and affection. He helped me turn my life around -a life changing event I can never forget! John had the ability to get us to see the big picture of spirituality but always non-judgementally. I'm very lucky he has been part of my life. God bless him and his family!

I worked at Farrington Court for 3 years. When I first started working there, I met Barbara without John. John had been in rehab at that time. A short time later, I finally got the chance to meet John. What a guy he was! He was sharp and witty. He had great stories to tell if you listened carefully. He was very soft spoken. John would always smile and wave when anyone passed by. My sister also got a chance to work with him for a short while. I was very surprised that John remembered her even though it had been months since she had moved on. John was a great guy to talk to and listen to. He will be missed greatly. Our prayers are with Barbara, Mary, Joann and the rest of the McClure family.

John was my boss and the Director of Treatment at Sundown M Ranch when I started work there in 1977. The therapy principles he taught guided me during a long and successful career as a chemical dependency therapist. He mentored a generation of counselors who have since helped to save the lives of countless thousands of suffering alcoholics.
