Marjorie Jane Flobert

Marjorie Jane FLOBERT January 11, 1936 ~ February 28, 2011 Marjorie was born in Kenmore, Ohio and moved to Washington State in the early 1950's and settled in Renton, WA. In 1965 she married Jim Flobert who had started J and J Piano Movers in 1958. Shortly after they married they opened A-1 Piano starting in their garage. In the early 70's they moved the business to 7020 Greenwood Ave. N. in Seattle. They were active members of the Elks in the 70's. Unable to have children she adopted a daughter Toni, a son Donald and cared for 96 foster children. She is preceded in death by her fatherW. Marion Thompson, mother Bertha Thompson; husband James Flobert; brothers M.W. (Bill) Thompson, Allan Thompson, sisters Betty Friend and Carol Lugar and her daughter Toni Rein. She is survived by a son DonaldStein of AL; grandson Shane Oliver of WA; granddaughter Gaylynn Webster of WA; Jim Kenyon herbest friend and life partner; numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces and many friends who will truly miss her. Memorial services will be held at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 19800 108th Street SE, Kent, WA 98055 on Wednesday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m.
