Robert A. "Bob" Marvel

Robert A. 'Bob' MARVEL May 11, 1948 ~ February 26, 2011 Robert A. 'Bob' Marvel, devoted husband, father, son, and brother passed away, age 62, in his Seattle home after courageously fighting melanoma. Bob was born in Easton, MD on May 11, 1948 to L. Everett Marvel and Martha B. Marvel. He graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1970 with a degree in journalism. He married Miriam Raya in 1973 in Maryland and they lived in California before moving to Seattle where he sat on the Board of Directors of Country Doctor Clinic. He worked at Concilio for the Spanish Speaking as founding editor of La Voz publication. Bob had a thriving career finding Seattleites their homes with Windermere Real Estate for fourteen years. He would go on to be named among Seattle's Best Real Estate Agents by Seattle Magazine. He is survived by his father, L. Everett Marvel, wife Miriam, daughter Bridget Laneuville (Chris), brother Donald E. Marvel (Carol), sister Wanda L. Marvel (Jim) sister-in-law Roberta Chiles, two nieces and five nephews and numerous family and friends.
