William W. Baker

William W. BAKER William W Baker of Everett was born August 21, 1940 in Seward, Nebraska and passed away peacefully on January 17th, 2011. Bill was an active and highly respected lawyer with the Anderson Hunter law firm in Everett for 24 years before he was appointed by Governor Gardner to become a judge on the Washington State Court of Appeals in 1990, where he served until his retirement in 2008. His life was full of wonderful family, friends, and colleagues with whom he enjoyed sports, games, intense competition, fishing, food, travel, cards, racquetball, golf, books, cooking and travel. He especially enjoyed the many days spent at his home on Decatur Northwest in the San Juan Islands where he had many wonderful friends. He contributed fully to his community and profession, always striving to improve justice and quality of life for all. Bill is survived by a large and loving extended family. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Friday, February 25th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the new Rose Hill Community Center at 304 Lincoln Avenue, Mukilteo, WA. 98275, (425)263-8180.
