Anthony (Tony) R. Burrous

Born in Colorado, Tony was raised in Washington State. He had many passions including: photography, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and golfing, all triumphed by his love for the great North West. His quirky sense of humor, endless energy, humility, and work ethic led to many accomplishments, but none greater than his love and loyalty for family and friends.

Tony was a national caliber athlete having won the 1978 NJCAA Wrestling Championship, and he studied at the University of Washington on a wrestling scholarship. After college, he coached wrestling at Interlake HS in Bellevue for 16 years where he was a tough but supportive mentor.

His remarkable career included work at Boeing, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, Washington Mutual, and finally at CB Technologies, Inc. as Director, IT Delivery. His colleagues respected him for his

extraordinary work ethic and loved him for his never ending efforts to support them while striving to bring out the best in each individual.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Annette, by two children of whom he was very proud: Danielle Buckley and Anthony R. Burrous. He was deeply loved by four Step-Children: Devon Baldwin, Justin Riley, Caleb Riley and Stephanie Williams. He adored his three granddaughters: Alea, Rowan and Isabella. Tony is also survived by his mother, Shirley Burrous, his sister and best friend Deanie Larson, his nephews Trey, Eric and Seth Larson, his sister Heidi Godfrey and her children. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Roy Burrous and by his only brother, Douglas Homer Burrous.

His unexpected death occurred while mountain biking in Central Washington.
