Dwight Bergstrom Obituary

Dwight A. BERGSTROM Died March 2, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on February 2, 1957, in Seoul, Korea and grew up in Bellevue. He went to Interlake High School. He graduated from Washington State University where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. For 20 years, he as a geriatrics social worker at Comprehensive Mental Health in Tacoma. In his spare time he pursued his passion for all sports including skiing. He is survived by his mother, Sally Bergstrom of Emerald Heights, Redmond; his sister, Susie Webster and her husband, Mark of Woodinville, their two children, Walter, 15, and Haley, 11; and his aunt, Joanne Muir, of Kirkland. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10th at Overlake Park Presbyterian Church, 1836 - 156th Ave. N.E., Bellevue. Arrangements are by Acacia Funeral Home in Seattle. Memorials may be made to Evergreen Hospice, 124th Lane N.E., Kirkland.

I met Dewey in 1976 at Washington State University and what I remember most was that he smiled all the time. He was a great person to know.
