Remembering John my dear friend as he approaches what would have been his 70th birthday on September 18. John (Yeet as I called him) was a great friend and very kind and humble person who had a wonderful sense of humor. I met John at Interlake High School and we were roommates at the UW in Haggett Hall during the early 1970s. John was also very athletic and loved sports as well as the outdoors. Knowing him and remembering him now always inspires me to be a better person. John (Yeet) will always have a special place in my heart. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

John was my brother in law for 6 years- and I remember his smile, and how he made me laugh.
