Ann Birulin was born to Melech and Feige Neiss in Hruczewice, Poland on 10/4/1928. She passed away on 2/28/2018 in Seattle. Ann was a survivor of the Holocaust in which she lost her father, mother and three brothers. Committed to God and Torah she was a devoted Jew. Ann worked all her life to help others and provide food, clothes, and hospitality to all. She volunteered for many organizations including the Seattle Hebrew Academy, Amit Women, Hadassah, and BCMH Synagogue.
Ann was married for sixty five years to her beloved husband Sol, who passed away in 2014. She is survived by her children, Gloria (Mark) and Mark (Ayelet) and her dearly loved grandchildren, Brian, Brandon, Jenna, Tikva, and Maayan, nephews David and Robert.
Burial was at Bikur Cholim Machzikay Hadath Cemetery on February 28, 2018 Donations may be made to the Seattle Hebrew Academy, and the Birulin Scholarship Fund at the Jewish Federation.
