Mr. Klatt was an amazing teacher and coach. I had the honor to be his student while studying in Turkey and living with my parents. I grew tremendously in the two years I spent there and I credit Mr. Klatt for his unbelievable faith and confidence in me both academically and in sports. He instilled a belief in myself I never knew I had and I had the opportunity to lead a life and career based off of his principals and in my love for art as he did. Thanks Mr. Klatt, I'm so glad we had a chance before it was too late to catch up later in life and thank you for all that you were and are still to me. I carry you with me and will be dedicating my first illustrated published book to you. Enjoy this picture of an award ceremony that Mr. Klatt is standing behind me quiet yet proud and just so special!
