Bernice was born to William and Ella Kitzke Nov. 21st, 1920 in Alexandria, Minnesota on the farm. She attended school in Alexandria, Minnesota until the whole family moved to Wenatchee in her teens where she met Stanley Rairdon a railroad worker and they married. The Rairdons enjoyed many special outings with family like camping and fishing trips throughout Washington State and loved to entertain family and friends with lovely home cooked meals and barbeques with carefully planned-out games with prizes! Bernice was a very outgoing, fun loving, caring, lovingly generous-hearted blessing to so very many people. She loved her beautiful manicured yard and floral gardens of luscious blooming flowers which she often picked, bundled and delivered to church; she was a member of Missouri Synod Lutheran Church in Western Washington. She also shared her bouquets with so many people and, faithfully dressed several graves yearly in Western Washington, East Wenatchee and Sunny Slope areas. Bernice made-up food baskets and always brought Birthday cakes, gifts and cookies to the ones she loved. She would secretly surprise people with Easter baskets and egg hunts in their yards. We will certainly miss her lively sharing energetic caring, thoughtful and loving outgoing presents!May the Lord always bless her for making such a wonderful impression and in being there for others!
