May God comfort you and your family among all the other mourners of Jerusalem & Zion.
May you and your family only have joyous occasions from now on. (traditional condolences extended to mourners among the Jewish people)
Your father was an amazing man. I was born in 1956 and very fondly remember the Dick Van Duke show among many other things he was involved in. He was wonderful as Alan Brady.

Carl changed society in both subtle and hit-over-your head ways with all that he did over the years. Thank you to his family to sharing this great man with the world throughout the years. He certainly made a difference in the lives of many! My thoughts and prayers are going out to the multitudes of his family and friends that they find comfort in his wit and wisdom and thanks to the film industry we can see him again and again and let him continue bringing laughter and joy for an eternity to ourselves and others. (I just wish Legacy would add the category of "fan" as I never had the pleasure of meeting him but wished I could have)

Me. Reiner,
Without a doubt you were one of the funniest. Talented writers and producers ever. You were a true mensch. In my opinion, the Dick Van Dyke show was one of the funniest, well written shows. Now you're reunited with your beloved Estelle. Rest In Peace, your memory will ALWys be a blessing and a smile too.

Carl Reiner was so very talented, and the kindest of people. His comedy sure helped us, over the years, deal with a lot of lifes trials. We always knew that if we watched something that Carl Reiner was in or created, it would make us laugh and take our minds off of our problems. Our parents were always huge fans of Carl Reiner too. We loved his book too! Carl Reiner, now youre Ninety-Four. He never lost his sense of humour, even during the difficulties of getting older. We really admire him! God blessed us for 98 years, with a great comedian and a great person. I really hope he knew how much he changed the world for the better. Thank you dear Carl Reiner, for all the laughter. God bless you. We will miss you, greatly.
To the dear Reiner family, our hearts go out to you all during this very painful time. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.

Whoops! Again, my condolences to the Reiner Family. Carl had a long life thanks to being able to laugh everyday. Laughter is the best medicine. Carl, Mel Brooks and Betty White among others have provided proof of that.

Yesterday I wrote suggesting that Rob should write a sequel to Enter Laughing called Exit Laughing. Unknown to me at the time was a play by that name was previously written by Paul Elliott. There is a 28 minute sequence online, and it was funny, but it related to a clique of racey southern ladies vs. nice, wholesome Jewish humuh (spelling for New York pronunciation poiposes).

A long life to the rest of the family. Sit shiva this week, then back to laughing next week...well...maybe ten days if you need a little more time. Laughter really is the best medicine. Having been born in Montreal myself, I learned the moniker below the Quebec coat of arms is "Je me souviens" (I remember). When it comes to Carl Reiner, Je me souviens, et je me souviendrai toujours (I remember, and I will always remember).

We have lost a National Treasure! My thoughts prayers and deepest condolences go out to Carl Reiner's family, friends and associates during this very sad time. I have been a fan of Carl Reiner since watching "Your Show of Shows" as a kid and then the wonderful "Dick Van Dyke Show". I loved his movies, too, especially "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" and his cameo in "The Thrill OF It All." And his "2,000 Year Old Man" with his buddy Mel Brooks is brilliant. Although he is gone from us, his amazing body of work will be his everlasting legacy. May he rest in eternal peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him. May his memory be for a blessing.

From as far back as "The Dick Van Dyke Show," Carl Reiner made me laugh and he often made my parents laugh, as well. He was a unique individual with a mind filled with humor and comedy. And he knew how to share it, through actions, dialogue and as a writer and director.
May his love for and dedication to his family and his craft, inspire all who knew and loved him.
May his soul be bound up in the Bond of Life.
May his memory always be for a blessing (and make us smile) and may he Rest in Peace.

I'm expressing condolences to the family. I don't know any of you personally. Rob: Since you're a producer/writer, I think it's time for a sequel. Your father was involved with the play/movie called "Enter Laughing". For closure, perhaps you should get involved with the creation of a sequel play and/or movie called "Exit Laughing".

If laughter is the best medicine, small wonder so many comedians from that era are living well into their 80s, 90s and beyond.

Mr. Reiner,
You were one of the funniest and nicest, humble men. My
parents were European, spoke
little English, but when you, Syd, Imogene and Mel were on
TV they laughed loud with tears rolling down their face.
Of course i laughed too. You and Mel, I adored. Your card playing and dinner buddy, life time friend. You will be so missed sir. You had a good life,
Lovely wife, children that showed you love and.respect.
Time to go and light up the sky
With your shinning star. I'll look
for you. RIP Mr. Reiner.
Condolences to your family, all
your many friends,. Everyone
that loves you and especially
Mel Brooks.
