Charlie B. Puzzo

Charlie passed away on November 28, 2015; he was 93 years old.Charlie was born in Hartford, Connecticut on June 29, 1922. He served in WWII in the Pacific on the USS Birmingham, which he received a Purple Heart. He moved to Seattle in 1950 and owned many highly successful entertainment venues: beginning with The Playboy; The Penthouse, his renowned jazz nightclub; and ending his career in entertainment with Good-Time Charley's. Charlie loved life and everyone who met him, felt embraced and loved by his positive energy and tremendous gift of making everyone feel special. As a result of his tremendous success in business and real estate, he enjoyed retirement for over 35 years: entertaining, reading, traveling, and landscaping with the love of his life, his wife, Joyce Nanci Puzzo.

Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved son, Dino Charles Puzzo in 2007. Surviving his death is his beautiful and loving wife of almost 60 years, Joyce, and his two children, Charles Dominick Puzzo and Toni Puzzo Canady. He left three grandchildren: Dominick Charles Canady, Mia and Kirin Puzzo; his brother Joseph Puzzo's children and his cousins in California, Chuck, Roger and Joe Cusamano.
