David Dorpat Obituary
Born July 25, 1932 went home to his Lord May 10, 2013. David served 50 years in the ministry as a third generation ordained pastor. He was preceded by his first wife Donna. Survived by his current wife Lydia, his brother Paul Dorpat, his 7 children and many grandchildren. Services at the Edwards Funeral Home in Tacoma on May 25th. David was a wonderful husband, father grandfather and wonderful man of Christ. Prayers for the family. We know now that he is home.

David Dorpat was my mom's pastor in Cd'A Idaho and she came to faith in Jesus at the same general time that David had revival in his life. What I remember as a child was learning and singing the song "This little light of mine". To David's family I want to say that Mom (Janet Johnson), my sisters and I have all served the Church and and in the Great Commission, sharing the light of Jesus to this day. Thank you, David, for your ministry! -- Jaeson (born Herald James Johnson).
