Elwin C. PEARSON Jr. Born July 4, 1960 in Everett, Washington, Elwin passed away March 3, 2009 at UWMC surrounded by his beautiful family holding his hands. For nine years he battled like hell against cancer. Today he is back in the loving arms of his mother Patricia Pearson. Elwin leaves behind his wife of 20 years Barb; daughters, Caitlyn and Melissa; father, Elwin Sr., siblings: Susan (Steven), Maureen (Brad), Albert, Francis, Theresa (Bryan), and Patty (Roger); and an enormous amount of nieces, nephews and friends. He also leaves behind his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Sis Brewer and family. El was kind, sensitive, faithful, hardworking, cute, proud, honest, loving and the best dad in the world. He showed aChrist-like love for his large awesome family. We will miss you 'til we see you again, Ellie. Services will be held on Saturday, March, 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Westminster Community Church, 14550 Westminster Way N., Shoreline, WA. Dear Family; How very fortunate we feel to have met Elwin Jr. last summer at the Pearson Reunion in Newberg. But how sad that he is gone from us so soon! We cherish the photos and memories from that time. Please know that all of us extend our love and thoughts and pray for comfort to all of you. Please keep in touch.

My name is Will Cole and although I never met any of you I wanted to take a moment to convey my sincere and heartfelt sorrow at the worlds loss of Elwin. I went to school with Elwin and knew him since the 6th grade. I learned of his passing from friends and we have phoned others who knew Elwin from our school days to pass along this sad news. Our memories of Elwin will always be of a great fun-loving guy who we best remebered as "a great guy." Always ready with a smile and laugh, Elwin will be truly missed. Best wishes to you all at this time of sorrow.

dear barb,melissa,caitlyn, the pearsons & the brewers,

so sorry to hear of your loss. el was always so kind, so gentle, & so great with all the kids that hung around your house, always making them feel more than welcome. his quiet sense of humor, his devotion to his family, & his ability to roll with the punches, was a lovely thing, & rare, at that. i know you will miss him deeply, & trust that you will lean on your friends & family thru this difficult time, & find comfort in that.

We are so sorry to hear of Elwin Jr’s death and are so glad we got to meet him last August at the Pearson family reunion. We certainly extend our condolences to all the family. Who would have thought that one of us would not survive the year when we were taking pictures of the different Pearson generations. And certainly not one of Elwin’s generation.
Our hearts go out to all of you who are part of his family and we will be praying for you tomorrow morning as you celebrate his life, say goodbye, and remember so many good times you had together.

We saw this valiant young man's fight for his life. Did he lose? No, but we did. He is at peace with our Lord and his Mom and grandparents. We join in the support to his Dad El, to Barbara and Elwin's daughters and Elwin's siblings in loving prayers for God's blessings of consolation and peace. It is with deep regret that we are leaving on a trip today and will not be physically with you tomorrow. We will be with you spiritually.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I'm glad I got a chance to meet him last summer at the Pearson Family reunion and am thankful I got a chance to know him. He was a very kind, loving gentleman and I feel blessed to have had him in my life, even if for a short time.
