Erin Blake Obituary
Erin Danielle BLAKE June 30, 1970 ~ July 12, 2010 Erin's grace, sweetness, feistiness and loving care will forever be held in our hearts and minds. The beauty of her very existence has left an indelible mark on her family and friends forever. Erin married her best friend, Evan in 1997 and felt so blessed to be the mother of the most amazing children, Clare Katherine (11) and Cole Christopher (9). Her creative spirit will inspire us in the many traditions she has established and the experiences she shared with us. Erin continued to inspire others as a Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga instructor at studios in Redmond, Bellevue and Mercer Island. Erin graduated from Interlake High School and attended Cornish and the Seattle Art Institute. She is survived by her siblings, Shannon Smith and Todd Medeck and her parents Michael and Judy Medeck. The Funeral Mass for Erin will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. in Kirkland at Holy Family Catholic Church. A rosary will be held at Holy Family Church in Kirkland on Tuesday, July 20 at 7pm. Erin requested that contributions be made to Holy Family Parish School in lieu of flowers or gifts. I got to know Erin through her sister Shannon,my "neighbor" teacher at John Muir Elem. She was a courageous and loving person. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Erin, I knew you through your wonderful sister Shannon And we all attended IHS togethor. Although your life was shortened here on Earth There is no doubt in my mind you are up above with that bright shining smile looking down on all of us with the grace and beauty you always had here on Earth. Sending lotsa hugs and Prayers your way, And to your family and children. I know this isnt a easy time, But I know everyone knows and will always feel a piece of you always still here with us.
