Frank Charles Taylor

Longtime Shoreline resident, born July 20, 1936 in Chattanooga, TN Frank passed away suddenly on August 7, 2014 surrounded by his family. He graduated from West Seattle High School. He joined the United States Marines at the age of seventeen. Frank enjoyed playing senior softball, volunteering at the local food bank, playing cribbage, and spending time with his family.

Frank is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barbara, his daughters Jennifer and Christine, son-in-law Darin, and his two granddaughters Kendra and Emily.

A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 16th at 12pm at Bleitz Funeral Home, 316 Florentia Street, Seattle, WA 98109. The Service will be followed by a Marine send-off at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 700 W. Raye St, Seattle, WA. The North Seattle Eagles, 17724 15th Ave NE, Seattle, WA, will host the conclusion of the Celebration of Life starting at 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to any Wells Fargo Bank Account Name: "In Memory of Frank Taylor"

Dear Jenny & Family, I never met your Dad Jenny but my son Jimmy did and he always had nice things to say. I lost my Dad when I was 22 and it was the tuffest thing ever that I had to go though.
