Just got to meet Gary a short time ago, and must say, "liked him immediately!" Every Tuesday at the Eagles, I'm there with my trusty camera for Joker Poker and Paddle Wheel, snapping pics of all that showed up, Gary would see me coming and try to dodge me, but I wouldn't let him! Thanks for all the smiles and kindness, you are truly missed...Our thoughts and prayers are with you at your time of sorrow.

Laura, Will and Sheila,
We hope you know how much we loved Gary. He was always interested in how all his family and friends were doing.
Will, when times get tough, remember all the happy memories you shared with your Dad. The hunting trips and the opportunity to work along side him in the business. Sheila, take the time to remember all the softball games your Dad attended, and know how excited he was for you. We know how happy he was that you were interested in your education and working toward doing wonderful things with your life. There is no doubt that your Dad loved you both so very much. Never forget that, it will help you stay close to him. Please know that we think of all of you often and will always be there for you.

Laura, Will and Sheila,
I want you to know that I really appreciated the times I spent talking with Gary, your Father at Hat Island through the years. Gary was a great person, always smiling and had a very distinctive hearty laugh that let you know fun times were just around the corner ! Gary had a great sense of humor, was always willing to help and enjoyed sports so much I can still see him heading off from the crowd to go watch the Mariners or the Seahawks no matter what. He will be greatly missed by me as well as everyone who knew him. He was proud of you kids and you can be assured he will be watching you each and every day. If I can help in any way please let me know. God Bless, Tim Haring

Beginning many years ago.....through rental houses, camping and hunting trips, baby showers, birthday celebrations, picnics, fun at the cabin and working hard, Gary was a bright spot. He always had a funny joke, or words of advice, and it was an honor to call him a friend. May his memory live on in all that knew and loved him.

Dear Laura, William & Sheila,
My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss. I have fond memories of Gary from the time we spent together growing up through Junior High and High School. Out of High School we sort of lost touch but would meet up every couple of years or so. Gary is the kind of guy that always had a smile on his face and good things to say about people. My memories of Gary is that Gary was the kind of guy that you could call when you needed help on something and he was there.

Dear Laura, William & Sheila
It has been many years but your Father was a very very good friend of ours. My former husband and sons Beau and Chad spent alot of time with your Dad fishing and just hanging out together. We are all so very sorry about your loss. Your Dad was with Rick the day that Beau, our first son, was born and they had quite a story to tell the next morning. In fact, everyone in my family has great memories of your Dad all the way back to high school. We will all miss him. Please know Beau Chad and I are thinking of all of you. Heartfelt Regards, Linda Beau and Chad Kush

What a shock! Shaune and I have both known Gary since Junior High School, we all went to Kellogg Jr High and Shorecrest. We lost touch but when we moved our family to Snohomish we ran into each other. I had an issue with our water line on Christams Eve day one year and called him. He was there with his mini hoe and his son Will within an hour and repaired the line...on Christmas Eve for crying out loud. When I asked him how much he said why don't you just give Will a couple of Ben Frankin's. What a good guy. Our condolences go out to his family.

Gary myself and my cousin Lucky all worked together at Arvey Paper&Supply Co. downtown Seattle. Everyday was so much fun and Gary gave us all names. Mine was Janny Girl, my cousin was Lucky Boy, and we called him Gary Boy. He was a great guy and I have thought of him many times since our job. Gary and I would race home on the freeway everyday, as we both took the same exit. "most of the time he would win" with one big smile on his face.
Gary Boy, will never be forgotten by anyone who ever knew him
"What a great guy" He will be missed forever.....

The first words you ever said to me were "Never Weaken". I loved it so much that I got it tattooed on the inside of my wrist where I can see it every single day and live by it. From learning that I cannot enjoy the "High Life" until I'm over 50, to getting into trouble for dancing on bars, to celebrating at Aquafest, my birthday, and Homecoming, you have been an inspiration, plethora of wisdom, and a great friend. The love you have for Will and Shiela will not go unnoticed and your legacy for being an all-around good guy will live in them forever. As you told me when we last spoke, "You done good kid". I will truly miss you.
