Harold was born in Sioux City, Iowa and moved to Seattle when he was 7 years old with his parents, Harold and Winifred and his brother Del. He attended the University of Washington where he obtained a degree in Engineering and after three years in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict, he went to work for Boeing, where he spent his entire career. He had three children, Nancy (Jim) Higgins, Ryan Olden and Kurt (Lois) Olden and three stepchildren, Jon (Kimberly) Swift, Jan (Ben) Williams and Ross (Chuck) Swift. He also had three grandchildren, Katelyn (Mike) Lindstrom, Gregory Olden and Laurel Olden. His two step-grandchildren are Jillian Swift and Daniel Swift. Harold was a wonderful family man, and will be missed terribly by all of his extended family.

He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, his brother Del (Rowena) Olden, and many family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Ryan Olden.

A Memorial service will be held on January 20, 2018 at First Lutheran Church of Richmond Beach, 18354 8th Ave. NW, Shoreline, WA at 1:00 P.M.
