Harriet "Louise" Christenson

June 21, 1920 ~ November 11, 2017

Louise passed from this life on November 11, 2017 (Veterans Day) in the VA Hospital. She was very proud of being a veteran. She is survived by her daughter Helen Russell, son-in-law David Russell, her grandsons Erik Russell and Kevin Russell and wife Dee. Her niece Diana Whitney and nephews Louie and Steve Cocciolone and their families all on the east coast.

Born in Scranton, PA she traveled during her time in the Army. She was a nurse in a MASH unit during the Korean Conflict, spent time in Japan and Guam as well. After her time in the service she spent time back in PA, spent time in New Jersey, Alaska and New Mexico. Eventually retiring from nursing at the Marine Hospital here in Seattle. Through her life she was involved in many charitable organizations and she is a Past President of the Lake City Shoreline Emblem Club 189, was an active member of the NSDAR and The American Legion. She continued to participate in those activities until well into her 90's. She was loved and respected by all that knew her. She will be missed greatly.

The Memorial / Celebration of Life will be Monday,

November 27th at 1:00 PM at

Evergreen Washelli
