James C. Mogush

James C. Mogush of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on March 8, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Jim is survived by his wife, Teresa; son, Matthew; daughter Jaimie; daughter-in-law Noelle, grandsons Tyler and Charlie; brother, John (Pam) Mogush; sister, Stacey (Bob) Funk . Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. Mogush and Dorothy O. Mogush. Jim was a graduate of Washington State University where he majored in Hotel Administration and retired in 1999 after thirty-two years with Westin Hotels and Resorts. Jim's life will be celebrated among family and friends in Tucson, AZ. Memorial donations may be made to Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo, Lurie's Children's Hospital, Wounded Warriors Project, or the American Lung Association.

John. I am so sorry to hear about Jim`s passing. I have informed his friends in SAE of his passing and have some great memories of the times we had together in Pullman and Seattle.

I worked with Jim at the Westin Chicago back in the early 1980's and he was an influential person in my life. Sorry to hear about his death and wish his family well in what is a difficult time.

Teresa and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I first knew of Jim through his parents, Joe and Dorothy. We later both worked together at Westin Hotels and Resorts. I remember him as a true professional and a fine man.

Theresa and family - Our prayers are being sent your way from Kansas CIty. We have been so fortunate to know you both for over 20 years now. Of course the highlight being our time spent in Shanghai and Thanksgiving Dinners at your place. I have more reason than ever to visit you in Chicago where my son Adam is attending Loyola University. May you embrace the life you shared with Jim and that of your children and their offspring. You are blessed and he is in a good place. They' take care great care of him.

Jim and I first met in 1967 when we worked together at tThe Olympic Hotel in Seattle. We became fast friends, and I was warmly welcomed into the famiy by Joe and Dorothy. Jim had a warm contagious laugh, and a great sense of playfulness. So many good memories. May God keep you in his arms, my friend.
