James Beaulieu Obituary
James passed away November 26, 2018, in Shoreline, WA, at the age of 87. He was born in 1931 in Butte, MT to Theodore Beaulieu and Mary A. Sullivan. James graduated from Seattle University and later received his Master of Education from the University of Washington. He enjoyed a long career with the Seattle Public School District. James was active in his retirement volunteering with organizations such as the Seattle Art Museum, Ballard Garden Club and the BHS Digital Filmmaking program.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis of 60 years, his daughter Mary Lauch (Robert), son Steven (Kristin), and grandchildren (Erin, Timothy, Maxwell and Allison) whom he loved very much. James was preceded in death by his son Joseph.
A memorial will be held at 11:00 am, January 19, 2019, in the Ray Smith Room at CRISTA Rehab & Skilled Care, Shoreline, WA.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ballard High School Digital Filmmaking Program.

My father worked with Jim at the Seattle Asian Art Museum (managing security at the front door) where would spend many hours together. We always enjoyed Jim's gentle kindness and cheerful spirit. When I visited my dad at SAAM I very much enjoyed also saying hi to Jim who worked in the SAAM gift shop. We enjoyed chatting about his grandchildren of which he was very proud and my children (my dad's grandchildren). We last saw Jim a year or so ago at a Ballard High school musical concert where both our families were performing! We are so sorry for your loss and hope to be able to join you at the memorial service in celebration of his wonderful life.
