James Francis Carlin, Jr.
Born July 26 1971. Our cherished friend Jim Carlin, 46, passed peacefully from this life October 20, 2017, in his Shoreline home with husband Ben by his side. Artist, master chocolatier, baker, landscaper, culinary professor and chef, Jim loved to design beautiful things that tasted amazing, and he loved to make things grow. He was an incredibly loving, generous and thoughtful friend with the nurturing soul, the inspired imagination of a true artiste, and the heart of a lion.
His beloved mother Mary A. Carlin precedes Jim in death. He leaves behind his husband Benjamin Munoz; father James F. Carlin, Sr. (Mary Greene-Carlin); brothers Christopher and Shawn (Anh and Alyssa); nieces Gabby, Alivia and Kayla nephew Dylan; aunts, uncles, cousins, step-siblings; his cat Harvey; and countless friends, including his "Seattle family" who reveled in his friendship.
We love you, Jim
