James Wesley Fry

Jim, passed away in Bellevue, WA on August 8th, 2018 surrounded by family after battling an aggressive form of lung cancer. He was born in Spokane, WA on May 16th 1959 to William and Mabel (Bundy) Fry. After high school, he followed in his father's footsteps into the refrigeration business. He was an excellent businessman with a passion for selling refrigeration equipment. His 40 plus years in the refrigeration industry gained him many lifelong friends and a reputation for exceptional customer service. In his free time, he was an avid golfer always looking for a new, challenging course with great views. He was kind, generous, and always willing to help out others. He was a loving father of Calvin and Melissa and relished the opportunities to visit or help them any way he could. Jim was an attentive grandfather to Norah and would FaceTime her after work and school every chance he got.

He is survived in death by his son Calvin Fry, daughter Melissa (Cedric) Koffi, granddaughter Norah Koffi, girlfriend Fay Ng, mother Mabel Fry, brothers Mike (Robin) and Steve Fry, and sister Joanne (Cliff) Tate. He is preceded in death by his father William Francis Fry, and brother Dave Fry.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 16th, from 11am-2pm at Sunset Hills Memorial Park & Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to cancer research to honor Jim's memory. Donations may be made to the Jim Fry Memoriam Fund Go Fund Me account or directly to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
