Jay was an interesting man... A time-traveller, he didn't belong in the 21st century. He was a great actor. One day he was Frank Sinatra, another day his was James Gandolfini. He was always someone. I doubt that anyone really knew the true Jason Johnson. In the blur of his dark bar nights and evenings at the Gaucho's, I doubt that he knew whether it was him or a character whose story he recreated.
RIP, you will be missed by those whom you left behind.

JJ was a great friend, coworker and all around good guy. His love of the Sopranos was incredible. I remember the time when we had won a trip to tour the Tequila distilleries and we had extended our trip to Puerto Vallarta. Well the very last episode of the Sopranos was that Sunday night. He made me promise to find a place to be able to watch this final episode. Well I came through with flying colors. I found a bar in the middle of town where we could sip on bourbon and enjoy the episode. Fade to black... if you remember the episode you'll know what I'm talking about.
He always greeted us with his big smile on Monday morning at work, which kept us wondering what he'd been up to over the weekend. Always earning He'd say. He also loved the horses at emerald downs and big stinky cigars!! Lol
I'll miss you JJ!
Salute
John

Jason you were my mentor, big brother figure, and the best big cousin I could ever ask for. You taught me what respect was all about, plus what being a man really means. I looked up to you for everything, and every-time, you were there for me. You are the reason I went to O'Dea and WSU. I think of you each and everyday. I can not wait to see you again in the next life. I have been crying for days on end with this news, I miss you already so much! I love you so much! RIP Cousin Jason
