Dear Eberles and Gerards,
Everyone in Tina's City Hosue class is so saddened by our first loss, and such a great one. Yours is even deeper. We were incredibly moved by her email to all of us letting us know of her fight and by all her subsequent personal exchanges with each of us.

Tina made my days at City House richer as one of my closest friends, and in college years and our twenties sharing events with her was an important part of becoming young adults. Many, many friends from those days have gotten in touch with one another to express the ways her vitality and beauty and dazzling smile personified those days for us. And today my younger brother Dennis called to mourn and said the first time he was ever on a farm was when we took him to Eberles'.

Tina Eberle Gerard had a true impact on many people. Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers, and if I can do anything for Tina's children, please let me know.

Beth and rest of Eberle Family - My heart and prayers are with you all. I have such fond memories of Tina during my high school years hanging in Parkview with Beth. Tina was just one of a kind and a true Eberle -- fun, intelligent, always with an opinion and a great role model as a mom and community active individual.

Tina was a very dear friend, and she will be greatly missed by me and her "Washington" family of friends. I came to know her because of her passion for Volkssporting, and that community is missing her kindness and giving spirit, as well.
May the many memories you shared with her bring comfort during this time of sorrow.

Dear Eberles,

I am so sorry to hear of Tina's passing. She was a typical Eberle- kind, with a wicked sense of humor. I loved the Eberle family, and Andy was my best friend for several years in grade school. The overriding memory of their family was the Eberle farm--shoooting clay pigeons, riding in the back of the old Ford pick-up, hiking down to the creek, spending the night up in the "attic" of the farmhouse, eavesdropping on the conversations of Dan and his friends down below. The "Doc" always appreciated any labor that could be contributed by visitors, and I remember rebuilding the brick chimney with my brothers and Mike Grady. The good doctor never mentioned the distinctive slant with which we left that chimney. I am truly sorry that I will be out of town visiting our daughter at college, and will not be able to attend the wake or funeral. My sincere and deep condolences to the Eberle clan. With love and fond memories.

Be assured of the prayers of the Sacred Heart family throughout the country. I write not only as head of the National Office of the Associated Alumnae & Alumni of the Sacred Heart AASH) but also as one of Tina's friends and admirers. She was my "desk partner" and "big sister" at the City House, and I have always cherished her friendship, kindness, and the wonderful tales she knew I loved to hear of her amazing Eberle family.

May beautiful memories bring comfort to all of the Eberles and Gerards.

Dear Friends and Family of Tina - she was our neighbor on Westgate in Parkview. We always thought she was a saint on earth, so tireless in her efforts for young and old, so generous, so broadminded, so patient. She should have lived for ever - and she will. An asset to heaven, on earth she will be sorely missed.

Dear Lassie and all the family, Eberles and Gerards,

Tina was such a bright soul! The innermost reaches of all hearts are touched to the quick at thinking of how quickly she left this sweet earth!

I always loved her wit and wisdom, admired her generous spirit, and appreciated her kindness. She will be missed ever and always, even as she looks in on all from the other side, offering help where it is needed.

May you all draw comfort and strength from one another in the days ahead and feel angels' wings cradling all you hold true of the divine.

Love and prayers, Eileen Kinsella

Dear Eberle, Gerard and extended family of Tina,
I am so sorry to know that Tina has left you and all of us far too young! I send my heartfelt condolences and best wishes for your peace in her loving memories. I also include this quote from "The Little Prince by Antoine dr Saint-Exupery:
"...In one of the stars I shall be living, In one of them I shall be laughing.
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look up at the sky at night."
Sincerely, Maggie Kinsella
