Hi Jan
I am so sorry to hear about Jeff, I just found out about it yesterday. You and Jeff were good friends and it's always sad when you loose one. Thinking over the years I worked with you and Jeff we sure had some good times and a few sad ones but that's the way it goes.

Janis,
Jeff had a kind heart, unique personality, great sense of humor and will be missed by the hundreds, if not thousands, of people who knew him. I first met him in 1976, my wife in 1984 and one just couldn't help but like him. No doubt there is much grieving amongst the many Metroids who survive him, as it really was like a family during the pre-County days of Camelot AKA Metro Transit and Jeff touched many lives. Our thoughts are with you during this trying time Janis.

I never knew Jeff but heard a lot about him. I am married to his brother, Jon. We currently live in La Conner and Jon lost touch with him before we were married 35 years ago. So sorry to hear about your loss. Jon says he has fond boyhood memories with many laughs.

Jeff and I started with Seattle Transit about the same time. He was a great friend to have at work.

Going to miss you friend. A friend to all and the one to turn to at transit when in need of help. Good times together playing cribbage. Honest and kind. A good legacy you leave behind. Remembered by many for years to come.

I also had Jeff as an instructor at Metro and then the privilege of working with him until his retirement. He was one of the best and I am better off for having had the opportunity to know him. Thank you, Jeff.

I was trained by Jeff both as an operator and as a supervisor. We spent many "happy hours" together and I will miss him. Janis I share your grief and know that Jeff is pain free and in a better place now.

Jeff was my instructor for new bus operator training, back in 1978, WOW!! a long time ago. He taught me patience and to read the road ahead and i have praciticed that philosophy ever since. My sympathies go out to Janis and Jeff's family, I know he is in a special place. Bless you,Jeff
