John George SURABIAN A proud Armenian man, John Surabian went home to be with the Lord April 3, 2011 in Seattle. He was born July 23, 1928 in Marysville, California. Preceded in death by his parents Carl and Flora Surabian, his sister Catherine Cooper and his beautiful loving wife of 47 years, Phyllis Ann Culp Surabian. John leaves behind his four daughters: Ann (Pat) Kellett, Catherine (Jon) Goodman, Karen Surabian and Nancy (Dave) Hanthorn; his 9 grandchildren: John, Jennifer, Jessica, Jeffrey, Tyler, Kristina, Dale, Allie and Corrissa; sister-in-law Lois Heichel and many nieces and nephews. John earned his bachelor's degree in Business from Golden Gate University. He served in the United States Army and Navy. John spent 45 years working for General Cigar Company and retired as their Regional District Manager of the West Coast. John loved his daughters and grandchildren very much. He is forever with his sweet girl Phyllis and forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday4/10/11 at Beck's Funeral Home in Edmonds.
