John L. BREEZE Jr. Born and raised in Seattle, one of 8 children of Ray and Evelyn. Survived by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 6 children, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He joined the Navy during WWII and served aboard the Eagle Boat PE-56. He was one of 13 survivors when his ship was torpedoed off the coast of Maine in April 1945.A book was written about his Navy experience by Stephen Puleo, titled, "Due to enemy action". He returned to Seattle and made a career for himself at the Boeing Co., starting as a machinist apprentice, going to school to become a tool designer. His passions were his family, church, golf and bridge. He was genuinely honest, compassionate, good humored and liked by all who had the good fortune to know him. His family and many friends will miss him. A memorial service will be held February 8, 4:00 PM at Puyallup Foursquare Church, 601 9th Ave. SE, Puyallup, WA. 253-848-9111.
