Dear Kali,
Daddy's little girl, it's been about month already I still can't believe it's true I miss and love you so much. I had so many good times with as you were growing up to such a beautiful young woman it just hurts so much that that's all I get. Maybe that's selfish but I wanted so much more for you. I Know that your in heaven now and I ask god to hold you in his loving arms until one day I can hold you again in my arms again. You will always hold a very very special place in my heart. The love and joy that you brought me over the years no can ever take that away so I will hang on to that. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH HONEY, DADDY

I barely knew Kali,(from the MEHVA Christmas lights bus tour)but was deeply saddened to hear of her loss. It seems the world was deeply graced by her presence, and has lost a real wonderful person. Kristin, I am so very sorry to hear of this tragedy your family has suffered. There is nothing more tragic than the loss of a young person, a beloved family member, who is just beginning life and who has so much to offer the world.
I was so priviledged to have known you and am so very saddened that our contact now is because of this horrible event. Having lost my niece in 1993, who was like a daughter to me, I know what you and your entire family are going through and I offer my prayers and loving thoughts.
Unfortunately the only real relief to such a loss is the passage of time, but it will slowly make your heartache bearable.

A remembrance of Kali:
I was so touched by the wonderful outpouring and support of the many relatives and friends of Kali at the memorial service yesterday. I remember when Kali came in to spend "bring your child to work day" with Gramma Ann and the rest of us here in Credentialing at Premera Blue Cross. Ann always had wonderful pictures of her grandchildren to share with us and post on her cubicle walls. We watched Kali grow from a cute little girl, to a very pretty teenager to a beautiful young woman. The one universal theme I think we all took away with us yesterday was that Kali was so special, happy and caring and that people always felt better after being in her presence. What a great memory that must be! You all will remain in my thoughts and prayers as you find your ways through this valley.

Kali,
At your memorial today, so many people talked of the joy that you brought into their lives. Your smile, your giving spirit, and your love will live on in everyone who knew you. Your parents and family grieve for you but take such joy in all the special moments they were able to share with you over the past 18 years. It is clear that your friends will always carry you in their hearts. We always thought of you as our niece. We will miss you and remember you always with love, gratitude and thankfulness that we were able to have you in our lives if only for a brief time. Bob, Kristin, Keri, Al and your families...Kali was a very special young woman and we are so very sorry for your loss.

To our special niece Kali.We first met your cute sweet smile when you were only 3yrs old. We would see you every other weekend at your Dad's and Kristin's house. Your cousin Maddy remembers playing and having fun,just like a big sister. You are up with the angels now, but your memory will be in our hearts forever. We love you.

I went to school with Kali. I loved her general kindness for everyone and everything around her. I had classes with her and often talked with her at lunch. She was hilarious and I will miss her a lot!

Kali was an amazing person who touched so many lives, just by smiling at someone. I know she is in a better place, but that doesn't make it any easier to let her go down here. I had spanish with her sophomore year, and i kepr pronouncing her name wrong, so i just always called her maria...I know we all love her and miss her, but if we keep that love for her in our hearts she will never truely be gone. I remember picking Kali up for drivers ed. She would always come out with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. We would usually laugh all the way to class as Nikki and her would pick on Ryan.
There were times when I only had Kali in the car and we would have awesome talks. Her smile, laughter and wonderful sense of humor are going to be missed forever.

I remember when it was bring your kids to work and Keri & I brought our kids to work. Kali was so shy sweet and beautiful. I thought she was a little angle even then. I remember Kali from when she was around 11 years old when I first met Bob and Kristin. My favorite picture of her was on a Christmas Card of the three of them at Mt. St. Helens... I remember when you were first born. Dashia and I still look at the pictures of you and her once in a while when you guys were toddlers. I remember when your Aunt Tracie and I would babysit you so your mom could work and I would bring Dashia over to play with you since you two were only 2 months apart.
